Woodhill Hall is the perfect setting
in which to hold your Civil Wedding Ceremony or wedding reception.
Woodhill Hall offers you exclusive use for 2 or 3 night weekend breaks for
you and up to 26 guests to stay in our wonderful country house,
surrounded by the splendour
of the Northumbrian countryside.
We specialise in offering unique
and affordable weddings - we offer flexibility so that you can
make your special day truly unique. We are not a hotel therefore
you will not be bumping into any other bride on your big day,
few of the restrictions imposed by hotels as to how a wedding
day should be organised, apply to weddings at Woodhill Hall
You decide on the use of the rooms and what
happens and when. Couples are amazed at the freedom we allow them to plan out their special day. It
isn't our job to tell you how to celebrate your wedding - we are here to make your dreams happen. Our
wedding organiser is on hand to help co-ordinate all aspects of your day for you or take
a step back, recommend suppliers and leave you to deal with them directly.
We do not impose a minimum number
of guests for weekend weddings or insist that you use our in-house
catering. For weddings for 26 or less guests, we do not insist
on you using our bar facilities or charging corkage. If you do need
our bar facilities, we have some sample price lists of the wine, reception
drinks and bar tarrifs we can offer.
Wedding ceremonies at Woodhill
Hall can take place
in our Hall or Orangery. We have added a
wonderful Orangery, which enables us to seat up to 65 guests
for
a formal wedding breakfast. Alternatively, for informal
wedding receptions, we have a maximum capacity of
100 guests.
For larger weddings marquees can
be erected in the grounds of the hall to cater for upto a 150 guests.
To mark your special day at Woohill
Hall, we invite you
to plant a tree in our wedding wood both
as a means of carbon offsetting and also as a lasting reminder
of your wedding day. Please ask for a tree menu listing a selection
of trees you can choose from.
