Finances:
All payment requests and invoices must be paid in full without
set off whatsoever.
Woodhill Hall reserves the right
to charge interest at the rate of 5% per month above the base
rate of Barclays from the due date of payment until the date
on which the outstanding amount is paid in full.
Deposits
and Payments for accommodation:
1. To secure your booking
a £500 non-refundable
deposit should be forwarded on
confirmation of
availability to C. Knight at Woodhill
Hall, Otterburn, Northumberland,
NE19 1JX.
2. The remaining balance
to be paid by way of two equal
instalments. The first instalment date
will be agreed between the guest
and the owner. The final instalment being
8 weeks before your stay.
Deposits
for catering:
If you are using our in house caterers then we will require
50% deposit based on your estimated number of guests that you
anticipate attending your wedding reception.
When you confirm the final numbers
28 days before the wedding reception, the balance for the catering
will also need to be paid.
Catering
other than wedding receptions:
Final numbers to be confirmed 14 days before your stay. Payment
for this catering can be paid on arrival.
Final
Numbers:
If you are holding a wedding ceremony or reception at Woodhill
Hall then we require you to provide us with final numbers of
who is attending 14 days before the event.
Woodhill Hall cannot guarantee
to supply services to guests arriving at a function in excess
of the agreed final number
Cancellation
Policy:
Should you require to cancel your booking with us either for
accommodation or catering the following charges apply: -
Date of cancellation - cancellation
charge payable by you
(a)
Between 12 and 8 weeks before the event, 50% of
the total booking value
(b) Less than 8 weeks before
the event a 100% of the
total value of the booking.

Could
Woodhill Hall cancel my booking?
If any part of the property is closed due to events beyond our
control
If you or we become insolvent
If full payment has not been received within 14 days of a final
reminder being sent to the client.
Beverages:
If there are less than 26 guests at a wedding, it is an option
for the client to bring their own alcohol on site during the
course of their stay. If the numbers attending the wedding are
greater than 26 guests, then Woodhill Hall will run a licensed
bar and provide a drinks package.
For
weddings and events where there are more than 26 guests on the
premises:
If you choose to pay for drinks on a consumption basis we can
provide you with an estimate before your event. The final invoice
will however be calculated on the actual consumption by your
guests. Alternatively we can provide drinks according to a fixed
budget if this budget is agreed in writing prior to the event.
Should you wish Woodhill Hall
to operate a cash bar, twenty-one days notice is required and
you are liable for the cost incurred by Woodhill Hall in obtaining
the licence. Currently the cost of obtaining an event’s
notice is £30.
You will be responsible for the
orderly conduct of the guests and will ensure that their behaviour
in no way jeopardises any liquor licence in force during the
time of the event.
Please note that Woodhill
Hall operates an over 21 policy in relation to the sale of alcohol.
Any persons who look under 21 years of age requesting alcohol
will be asked to provide valid identification showing a photo
of them and their date of birth prior to being sold alcohol
